We are currently using the unix server version 6.0.3 with unix clients version 4.5 (I know the unix clients are unsupported) and I have recommended upgrading to server version 7 and using the mid-tier for the client. My management is concerned that the LOE involved is greater than any benefits from the upgrade. Has anyone noticed any outstanding benefits or drawbacks since upgrading to version 7?
