Back in the day of Remedy 6.3 on a home grown system, I could create a group on
the group form and then just use the group in an active link for any form on
the system. ITSM doesn't seem so easy. Not having worked with applications
until now, I suspect there is more to than this.

Deployable applications use Roles, so create the group, create a role, map
the role to the group, now that you have the role, you can grant objects
the permissions like you used to with groups

Been there. Try Chrome for iPad, but I believe you will have similar issues.
I have a custom-developed app and hoped to keep the design and layout
mobile-friendly, but alas pull-down menus and table fields are problematic in
some cases.
