One customer demands us to geo-localize the CI. The idea is to upload the maps of their offices and show the CI's on the map. He has a WiFi network capable of localizing the wireless assets. We also now, from the switches where each device is connected. So all this information could be in the CMDB

My idea is to load a custom image like in the next example: http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example_custommap1.htm Then create custom markers for any type of CI and load the map. The balloon of the mark can show the name of the CI and an hyperlink to the Asset form. Jose M. Huerta Project Manager**
