Title: RE: Mid-Tier 7 & Java SDK (what version) ** Chris: Check if the JRE was installed.  Tomcat (and Mid-Tier by default) need it.  Also make sure that you have a JAVA_HOME and that the Java program's location is in your PATH (this also applies to Windows.) James

Support says that 1.5 causes some problems. I'm using 1.4.2_11 without a problem. Rick From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) on behalf of Chris Rom Sent: Tue 8/15/2006 11:41 AM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Mid-Tier 7 & Java

Mid-Tier 7 & Java SDK (what version)

2006-08-15 Thread Chris Rom
Asking for some feedback on what version of Java SDK you have installed. I installed Java EE SDK 5 (and Tomcat 5) but when I try to install Mid-tier it tells me that no compatible SDK was found. Do I need the older version 1.4 SDK instead ? Rgds, Chris
