If you get db timeouts. And you process will not dump the tables it sounds
like you will have to fix the db issues along the way
Indexes are not needed for exports or tablescans which is a blank form search.

You may want to look at RRRChive. It has a feature that allows you to copy
records to file, and then an opposite feature that lets you restore from
file. In essence, exporting your entire remedy dataset to file, move the
files wherever you need them, then restore them to another remedy
