Thanks Jason, That's exactly how I decided to go about it. I was facing an
issue with PERFORM-ACTION-SAVE-ATTACHMENT where I was getting a Null or
invalid path but I figured it out. There was a carriage return that I
needed to remove and now it is working fine. Thanks again.

I have always used a script to either send via FTP (SFTP) or SCP (using
putty if on Windows). Basically create a filter that saves your attachment
to the server's disk and then have a script that picks up the file, sends
it and deletes it from the file system.

I have request to have the ability to FTP an attachment on an HPD:WorkLog
record to an FTP location. I've read many posts online and have made
several attempts to achieve this but without success. Can anybody provide

I think by setting the attachment field to a character field, sets the path of
the attachment if present to the character field..
You can use this information in your workflow prior to running the
Perform-Action-Save-Attachment process and if present warn the user that the
attachment is not
I have a Filter doing a setfield process save attachment. I want the
attachment to not overwrite an existing file if one already
exists...suggestions?
