I like the idea of a holding form that does the submit. I will recommend that to the group. I was doing more of a proof of concept.
Also, the Window Loaded was the event I needed. Thank you all!!! ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rick Cook Sent: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 10:53 AM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Re: Trigger workflow & pass parameters - MidTier ** Christie, why not submit the record into a holding form, and have the act of creating that record populate the rest of the information and push all of the data into your main form? Then you could have an Open Window action fire after the real record was submitted. I can get the system to accept the variables on the URL string but I cannot seem to find an action that Remedy will recognize other than a button press to do the save / open in modify. Any ideas?
