We did an upgrade from 7.6.04 to 9.0.01. One of the escalation add notes to the 
worklog on incident form and then updates a field in View table using Set 
fields.

View table field update returns an error 'java.lang. null exception'. We tried 
to duplicate the same workflow with external code like cold fusion or .net but 
could not find a way to update the worklog.

We finally replaced the view form with regular form and it worked.

Is it an issue with Remedy 9 that we can't update a field in View form using 
Set fields action?
