*Duration*: 6+ months contract *Pay rate:* $45/hr on c2c 1. 8-10 years of PL/SQL Development and Reports Development (10g) 2. Healthcare experience (ability to understand how an health insurance company functions, and the processes involved with HIPAA and things like that) 3. Data Modeling experience *Job Details: PL/SQL Programmer/Analyst* - Follows and helps establish Application Development , Software Quality Interface, IT policies, procedures, and processes. - Writes test cases, unit tests. - Performs exploratory testing. - Understands and implements RDBMS data modeling concepts and has expertise in a client/server environment (TOAD, SQL*Plus, etc.). - Writes structured, maintainable and optimized code. - Uses libraries developed when applicable, recommends and/or creates new shared libraries and/or contributes to it when necessary. - Is comfortable working in Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments. - Implements source control concepts and adheres to source control standards. - May be required to learn and share new languages or other technologies. - Helps establish a technical solutions strategy that is integrated with the overall corporation and makes sure all solutions fit into it. *Additional Skills:* - A minimum of eight years of software development experience that is relevant to the application development team. - Must possess an understanding of software engineering principles, and be able to articulate compelling arguments for and against standards, roles, and processes. Expected to have an area of expertise within software engineering for which he/she contributes to App. Dev. team. - Ability to make quality, independent decisions. Analytical thinker. - Time management and organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively and efficiently on multiple requests. - Ability to speak English well enough to be understood by clients, co-workers and the public.
