ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Provide assistance on technical design and architecture.
- Including client/server, service oriented and web driven
architectures.
- Able to document projects from a component level
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews, help enforce best
practices, coding guidelines, and code quality.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
- Assist in identifying project tasks and provide estimates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years experience in software development
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft
*.NET* 4.0,
C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, IIS, WCF, XML/Web Services, and WPF.
- Expert knowledge in Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns
- Knowledge in database design and development
- Knowledge in SOA and related technologies (XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, etc.)
- Experience in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, other front-end development
technologies
- Experience developing and deploying service-oriented applications,
including external facing web services with a focus on security and partner
integration
- Ability and desire to operate in a high-initiative, startup like
company environment
- Must have a team-oriented, mutual-success focused attitude
Desired
- Java experience
- C experience
- Mac experience, particularly with Objective C
- Flex/Flash experience
- Ability to configure and deploy *.NET* based applications using
Windows 2008R2 Network Load balancing and Clustering
- Continuous integration experience
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
