*Required: UNIX,Windows XP, SiteScope and Scripting
Experience.
*
- At least 5 years hands-on technical experience with operating,
maintaining and configuring HP SiteScope.
- Knowledge of requirements and best practices for systems management
support of Windows and Unix.
- Strong knowledge of HP BSM, BPM, OM and other enterprise class
monitoring tools
- Proficiency with Unix/shell scripting, Perl or python and PowerShell
- Solid understanding of agent-based and agent-less monitoring best
practices
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP Management Protocols, SSH, WINS,
NetBIOS, DNS.
- Experience working with and monitoring web applications, UNIX and
Windows servers, load balancers, MSSQL, Oracle databases, Java, .NET,
Apache, REST and SOAP/XML web services.
- Configure, test, and release monitoring tools associated with managing
and reporting of networks, systems and services utilizing:
- HP Business Service Management (BSM)
- Business Process Monitor (BPM)
- Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB)
- SiteScope, Operations Manager for Windows (OMW)
- Performance Manager (OVPM)
- Operations Manager (OMi)
- Network Node Manager (NNMi).
- Must have experience establishing, maintaining and following
documented processes and procedures.
