1984 plan doesn't seem to amount to a hill of beans in the long run? 22
years, so what is your definition of the long run Tommy?

If you were to ask musicians from the State of New
Jersey if they'd rather see a New Jersey Hall of fame in the Meadowlands and
having some kind of music museum as a side show or have a New
Jersey Music Hall of Fame located in Asbury Park, dedicated to the talent from
the Garden State
Who's gonna make the developer honor their
agreement?

Excellent blow by blow Sharon. The only stores I
can think of that somehow weathered the storm are Carl (Mr. Fashion)
Felix Fox, the paint store. It's a toss up between Steinbach's the Asbury
Park Press regarding the death knell scenario I think.

Nice work JJ99! Some people just don't know when to shut up, even after they
are warned how offensive their crude speak might be to others. You'd think
otherwise based on their station and education.

Bruce has never tried to distance himself from Asbury and that endeared the
core fans. He always comes back and doesn't forget his roots. That is why
Bruce and Asbury are like peanut butter and jelly.
In the mid 1960's there were actually black kids I spoke to @ Neptune
Intermediate School
.
Must say by the time I was there (born 63) there certainly weren't
any. Civil Rights Act of 1964, perhaps?

I remember the sign, Blacks Only on Black Beach when I was a kid (born
1952). I've written about that beach in one of my stories on
www.greasylake.org . There were Whites Only on the rest of the beaches to
the North of the Casino. All the
Taste, give us a break! You used the word NAZI, that's a curse word to me!

The carousal house is an incredible design built solely for one purpose. How
many carousal houses are there today in N.J. or the U.S.A.? I do not think
the present owner wants to save the Casino. Talk is cheap as any politician
knows. I would love to produce and display an exhibit for the
ur side won.
PS - good luck with the NJ Music Hall of fame. I'm a fan of the
idea.
In any event, we are moving forward w/ exciting
plans and events around the State of N.J... Thanks!

Did anyone notice how somebody tried to make the north entrance door look
like a break- in hanging off the hinges? I wouldn't doubt they open a flea
market in the Casino, that's the mentality. Maybe give funhouse tours
through the carousal room? Sell bricks that fall in the nets? Possibilities
It's the heat of competition! That is something Asbury has been lacking for
decades, competition. Everything was always a deal, wink, payoff, etc. and
thing's are changing. The self proclaimed gatekeepers of Asbury Park are
being left in the dust.

Code enforcement is to busy threatening business owners w/ $500 per day
fines for an extension cord instead of holding our beloved Asbury Partners

accepted the 1st Avenue pavilion paint job as a total renovation as

The supports and deck are beyond hope. Many years of ocean pounding before
