Many of you probably already know (and I would love to know how many of you
didn't know) that Asbury Park has it's very own Roller Derby League. We at
the Jersey Shore Roller Girls pride ourselves on the fact that Asbury is our
home!
Our fourth season begins this Saturday night at the one and only Asbury Park
Convention Hall. The party continues after the game at The Wonder Bar.
In addition to reminding you all that there is a huge game this Saturday
(which we do expect to sell out), I was curious what your thoughts are on
having events like Roller Derby in your home town. We consistently sell
nearly 2000 tickets to each and every game and are proud to be responsible
for bringing thousands of people out to Asbury every season. We also raise
money for local charities at each and every event we host.
We hope to see even more support of the locals and promise you a GREAT time
will be had, just around the corner!
