Hello Group,

I was born and raised in NJ and spent most of my summers in Asbury
Park in the 1960's and seventies. I now would like to call Asbury Park
home. I have not purchased a home yet (still looking); however, I am
personally invested in the history of the city and want to lend my
support to help save and/or restore some of the city's unique structures.

I am particularly interested in what is currently happening with the
Casino building. I would appreciate any information about its current
status and anyone associated with the struggle to either restore or
rebuild this beautiful historic building.

I currently reside in NYC which may prevent me from being present at
all current local functions. I do however plan to come to Asbury next
week for the City Council and Planning Board meetings if they are open
to the public. Can anyone shed some light on this matter? Will it be
worth the trip? Any suggestions or names of people who I can meet when
I do come down? Who else can I contact to get more information about
the Casino?

Thank -you and I hope to meet some of you one day soon.

Chris Lanni
