Bring Your Pets and Come On Down! The Annual Pet Parade, sponsored by the Asbury Park Homeowners Association will be held this coming Sunday, June 18th, in Kennedy Park (corner of Cookman and Grand Avenues). This annual event is held in conjunction with the SaltWater Weekend.
Advance registration is required before the start of the Noon event. Registration will start at 11:30AM on Sunday. All animals must be under control at all times on leads, or in carriers, cages or bowls. The entry fee is $5.00 per pet, will benefit the Monmouth County SPCA. Some of the prize categories are: Quietest, best dancer, highest jumper, softest fur, best groomed, most spots, biggest nose, longest tail, best behaved, best trick, best owner pet look a like and other categories. This years Pet Parade is being sponsored in part by the Asbury Park Homeowners Association, Roger Legere Homes, The Coaster, Asbury Bark, the Wonder Bar, the Cat Fanciers Association and Michael Brim of Prudential Zack Shore Properties.
