One thing about the Berkeley -- do not underestimate what the value
to Asbury Park would be to have a world-class hotel. The Empress
has done very good business, but a fixed up Berkeley (or a
completely new Berkeley) would be one of the anchors to bringing
people to town for extended

I just heard from someone that the Berkeley-Carteret Hotel was sold and will be closed until November for rennovation. Does anyone know who bought the hotel?
