Well, since I've offended just about everyone who
posts here now, glad you let your "true" feelings
show! I just happen to be Black through no fault
of my own, am proud of the accomplishments of my
people and you mention military, my father fought at
Anzio, Italy on the ground, a Buffalo Soldier, while
the Tuskegee Airman beat the Germans A$$ in the air.
2 Uncles also fought at the Battle of the Bulge and
1 in the Navy, all WWII. My husband was involved
in the Tet Offensive back in 68 and my son was
military intelligence in Pusan, Korea.
Yes we serve like He*l, too! Since I was fortunate
to never have lived in what you call a "ghetto", 13
years of Catholic School, 12 years of dancing school
and violin and voice lessons, where I attended the SAME
Catholic Schools my parents did, I guess I'm
MORE than lucky. Not bragging either. Thought everybody
did what I did, because it's the world I came from.
When I hear people "hint" at and use certain phrases,
I've lived long enough to KNOW how to read between the lines.
I am NOT the dimmest bulb in the room and since you are NOT
Black, don't tell me what I know and DON'T know! Peace I
leave you, my Peace I give you! I go in Peace to love and
serve the Lord and that's ALL I do! Have a nice life!
