I saw your (APP) Jan. 4 editorial "Field of Dreams" on the proposed
Little League field in Asbury Park. Have the organizers looked into
Derek Jeter's foundation? It is called Turn 2 Foundation and its
mission is "to create and support signature programs and activities
that motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol
and "Turn 2' healthy lifestyles."They award grants and are particularly
interested in assisting youngsters in inner cities and urban areas of
