for Police Department......Asbury Park was built on music and
entertainment.....But going back many decades....through small clubs around
town and Convention Hall which holds 2,500....Paramount not as big......Now you
propose a 3 day concert drawing 40,000 per day....Bon Jovi alone could draw
100,000.....Very little parking, limited motel/hotel accommodations....no
access roads!!!.....Years ago when Henry Vaccaro brought Michael Jackson's
family to town in the hopes of jumpstarting the waterfront, they proposed a
10,000 seat multiuse arena......All the analysis came back the same....a
disaster due to lack of access roads.....Now a 3 day Bamboozle
concert!!!!....One day is a strain, but doable....3 dayz..a mess....Cars will
be logjammed around town......people will be sleeping in cars, frontyards and
sneaking onto residential porches.....even on Westside....Bottles and cans
everywhere.....urinating on front lawns.....I agree as an entertainment center
we had to take a shot at this, but now I am scared!!!....The agreement city
made with Live Nation stinks.....$150,000 for services may be right, but
$200,000 plus bonuses is a joke as a final payoff.....City should have asked
for $1,000,000...I'm not kidding!!!....And we're probably gonna need the dough
to pay for civil lawsuits when shit happens!!!......Bon Jovi is a class guy...I
think he's really doing this as an act of charity for the city!!!!!....Ya still
gotta worry....Kinmon is a great cop, but this is gonna be
tough!!!.....LOL.....This Asbury Park Sun internet thing is very good!!!....The
bald guy who owns it is sharp....Congrats!!!!
