Let's be thankful for what progress there is - new infrastructure, etc.
But let's also be honest things should be farther along - certainly
with the waterfront. With regard to construction sites, etc., - I see
them every day in NYC. Much larger in scope. In much more dense areas.
It could be done better here. This is our home. Certainly one must
expect disruption during construction - but, the sites could and should
be completely fenced. Certainly so since some, for instance, the rock
crushing operation, will be of relativelylong duration. It's not
looking at the glance half-empty. It's not unreasonable. It's just
asking the developerto respectwhere we live, play, etc. It doesn'tlook
good and it can easily look better. The groups here can agree on some
things. There is some progress yes. There are more things that need to
be done and that could be done better. Not unreasonable positions on
either side. Hopefully, we are all looking for the same thing - to
developour city in the best way possible.
