Hi all, Friday night my partner, two of our friends, and I took a paperweight making class at Hot Sand.
We first picked out two colors that we were going to use. Then we each had half an hour at a time with the instructors, who walked us each individually through the process on the first paperweight. Two of us made them while the other two watched or sat in the breeze on the boardwalk. Then for the second paperweight the instructors took a more background role & made suggestions for more ambitious designs. The whole process took about 3 hours, and we all had a lot of fun. The next day we picked up our paperweights, which looked amazing! This is an innovative and unique shop to have on our boardwalk, and I strongly encourge the communty to support it.
