Dear AP Listserve Members:
As I shared with you in an earlier e-mail, I will be running for City Council in this May's election. Your vote is important and I want to earn your support. In the past four years, I have been an active voice in Asbury Park on issues ranging from affordable housing, to responsible redevelopment, to recreation for our kids.
Along with my wife, Leslie, I am the Founding Director of Educating for Justice, Inc. an Asbury Park-based non-profit corporation. I have a masters degree in Theology with a concentration in Social Ethics. I am a founder of the Asbury Park Youth Soccer Club and I coach the Varsity Boys Soccer Team at Asbury Park High School. In response to my faith, every aspect of my life is focused on promoting social justice and the common good. It is what I do and who I am. I have the personal and professional experience to get the job done and I will provide responsible, visionary leadership for Asbury Park.
THESE ARE THE ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO ME: CRIME You deserve a City Council that is tough on crime with zero tolerance for those who break the law.
TAXES You deserve a City Council that spends your taxes wisely and lowers your taxes when possible. REDEVELOPMENT You deserve a City Council that makes redevelopment work for everyone. JOBS You deserve a City Council that will help create well-paying job opportunities for honest, hardworking citizens. COMMUNITY You deserve a City Council that values our whole community from our kids to our seniors. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please feel free to email me with any questions.
