Yesterday was another great beach day, despite some wind. However, I was really struck by how much litter was on the beach. If we're going to continue our momentum and attract more visitors, the beach really needs to be as clean as others. There's always going to be some trash unfortunately, but it seemed really excessive. Do we contract with anyone to do this throughout the summer?
Also, what's the deal with only one lifeguard on the beach on weekends? Is this normal? We moved away for about a year, so missed last summer, but two years ago there was always a lifeguard on the beach near convention hall.
