Tonight's Planning Board meeting involved a presentation by MM for a
Marketing Theme. The Pavilions are to be painted yet again !
Here's the chronology for the past several years:
- Brick Pavilions get "white washed"
- Fake storefronts and people are painted on
- A brick wall mural is put on a REAL (now painted) brick wall.
- A Pavilion is painted canary Yellow
- Some of the fake stuff is painted over
- A fake Esperanza shows up
- The Bandshell gets purple window paint
- All the pavilions get beige and blue paint jobs
...

Looks like something out of a drug induced experience..
What is the big problem with doing things tastefully and in
character for Asbury Park?
