Dan,
I hate when parents pay their kids for doing something their asked.
Like my firend told me, he pays his kids (19+) to bring up HIS laundry -
$1 per armful. Why - he gives them cars, college, food and a roof.
Don't you really think the families and schools in AP are being PAID
enough for performance? Do you propose INCREASING the already bloated
$85m from the state, or do you, as a taxpayer, want to contribute MORE
to give a kid or a family an incentive to show up?
HOw about teaching them that IF you screw up in life, THIS is what
happens - jail, poor jobs, no education, no life.
IF you do good, you will then get out of the hell hole we are in.
