RBR actaully has requirements to "get in" their program. They took the time and resources to create a good program , so they say, in in the arts, math etc. I've heard good and bad.
Don't think ALL the kids go there. A handful. Probably even a handful of african american students are "sent" there as well. There are plenty of kids from AP's sending districts that go to CAtholic /Hebrew Schools AFTER their 8th grade. Again, you have MORE funding then any of those private schools.
