in nj, I kind of remember the "25 ft" rule from a corner.
When you go build something on a corner, there is usally the "sight triangle"
or some other
term. - so bushes, buildings signage etc must provide for a clear view of
traffic etc.

This is probably not just an Asbury Park thing. New York State has a
similiar law and there is a very valid reason for it - safety.
The idea behind this law is that vehicles approaching an intersection
cannot get a good view of traffic on the other road. This law was
