Nice hair splitting Jim.  If they did say it, am I wrong to suggest 
that you believe they said it?  What are you protesting here?  Would 
you rather I said that you don't believe they said it? 

Also, as I racall, the quote from those 3 people as posted (I don't 
remember if it was you or Leslie who posted it) portended classism, 
not racism, which are entirely different things.
