Public Meetings on Waterfront Plan Endorsement PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Asbury Park will hold public hearings to review the City's petition for Initial Plan Endorsement which has been prepared pursuant to the State Planning Commission's regulations set forth in NJAC 5:85-7.1 et seq. and the Plan Endorsement Guidelines approved by the State Planning Commission on April 28, 2004. If endorsed by the Mayor and Council, the petition for Initial Plan Endorsement will be submitted to the State Planning Commission. Written comments may be submitted to the Office of the Redevelopment Director, Asbury Park City Hall, One Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, New Jersey 07712 by September 22, 2004, or submitted at either of the public hearings being held. Public testimony will also be taken at the public hearings. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that two public hearings will be held to review the petition. The Redevelopment Director will hold a public hearing on September 20, 2004 at 7:00 pm and the Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing on September 22, 2004 at 9:00 am, both in the Council Chambers, Asbury Park City Hall, One Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, New Jersey. At the September 22, 2004 Mayor and Council hearing, the petition may be endorsed for submittal to the State Planning Commission. The petition for Initial Plan Endorsement includes a request that the State Planning Commission designate the City of Asbury Park as a Regional Center. A copy of the petition for Initial Plan Endorsement is available for public inspection in the Office of the Redevelopment Director, Asbury Park City Hall, One Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, New Jersey between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
