I actually picked that name for no good reason myself. I use to
tease my boss who was this rich, refined man and call him Mr. Fancy
Pants... He would come in a beautiful, super expensive suit and I
would say Oh, look at you Mr. Fancy Pants! I used it for myself,
tongue and cheek bc
I do have to say, that I am from a North Jersey Italian family (1/2
anyway) and they do the nickname thing. Not in my generation, but in
the two before me. My grandmother's brother, for eg, is Baby
Arthur (youngest of 8 kids), my dad's brother is Brother (bc he
is my father - the golden
