As another day goes by i'm wondering why I even care that the fountain has been
vandalized.
A phone call to the PD about it resulted in them sounding like they don't even
care.
Emails to Jim Keady etc were not returned.
Nobody even had a comment on here about it.
The Asbury Historical Society claims to be involved in restoring the fountain,
but they also
haven't bothered to return an email I sent to them.
I guess it's a lost cause.
My question is this...does the Asbury Historical Society actually do anything,
or do they just
talk about doing things.
Also, why is Werner no longer part of a group that he claims to have founded
(forgive me if
i'm wrong about this)
I respect Werners attention to preserving the history of AP and his passion for
it, and to me it
seems that the AP Historical Society is all talk and no action.
Any thoughts?
