Friends of Asbury Park:
In light of recent posts on tourism, I am posting for a third time
something I initially wrote on my blog in JANUARY 2006, then reposted
(as you will see below) in JULY 2007.
It would be helpful if more of you would come to City Council
meetings and express the
Friends of Asbury Park:
In the past day or so a number of people have been posting to one of the
local listserves here in Asbury Park about tourism and our City. In light of
what has been written, and also in light of the new life Madison Marquette
has brought to our waterfront, I thought I would
not find the answer.
Yes we need places for the tourist to stay. We do not need to continue to be
the permiere destination for the homeless.
