Wall teen robbed, stabbed in Asbury Park

ASBURY PARK -- A 17-year-old Wall boy suffered minor injuries when he
was stabbed in the chest after a group of males approached him and two
other teens on Monroe Avenue, police said.
The Wall boy, a 16-year-old from Asbury Park and an 18-year-old man
from Wall were robbed around 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Detective Capt. Anthony
Salerno said.
The 17-year-old was stabbed with what was believed to be a small knife,
said Salerno, and the thieves stole about $40 in cash and a wallet from
the three teens.
