the sidewalks on ocean ave are not smaller then they were, at least not everywhere. the sidewalks behind the empress hotel. before, werent they somewhat small, with grass between the walk and road?? now the sidewalk goes straight to the road, eliminating the grassy area once before, with conrete blocks. if anything, isnt that added space? im having a hard time picturing all the sidewalks on ocean ave, its been a while since things were calm, with no construction. i had everything memorized at one time though. the east side of ocean ave is cut back a lot though, thats true. the area around the berkley hote, the building is close to poping out into the street! also, cough cough, it appears the new road and curb height in the newly curbed ocean ave lines up fine with the convention hall. go figure.
