On 11 June and 13 June, 2011 - The High Commission of India's cultural wing and House of Lords are planning to held an illustrated talk with a book launch "ASSAM" by Nanda Talukdar Foundation, Secretary - Mrinal Talukdar, a reputed journalist and consulting editor of the news channel DY 365. Followed by Bihu dance group from Assam. The two days prestigious event is organised by Rini Kakati, NRI Co-ordinator for UK. The popular artist of North-East - Ranjit Gogoi and his troupe will perform at various venues at UK and Ireland. Ranjit has been sent to various countries in the world by ICCR including Russia, South Africa, Seychelles, Re-union-Island, Mauritius, Bhutan, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia.
