OK, finally I have renamed the folder \tmpDB to \tmpDB1
After that the error has gone and the folder \tmpDB was rebuilded.
The vers. 2.5.2 build 16100 is also running without error again.

Just a side note, to be able to get Fail2Ban to work, I've changed the default

move the cursor over 'show filelist' or right 'i' icon in the 'search in'
line
the GUI should show a popup with the sorted current available log files
(number, filename, size) - is this the case?
