will just connect to that port where ASSP will proxy connections to

I ran an hmail server for a number of years with ASSP before moving to Zimbra.
As long as mail flows
internet=>assp=>hmail server
and
users=>assp=>hmail server (on port 587)
You should be pointing your users to port 587
Before installing assp, hmailserver sends and receives email just fine.
After installing assp, I cannot send but can receive emails.
I have attached my assp.cfg file.
I have set smtp port in hmailserver to 125
If I change my email client to port 125 I can send.
But I don't want to have to have
