I was thinking "yes" because "Single Message Mode" is inside the
"Penalty Box" main menu .
So I was thinking that when a domain name is on PB spamlover it was
bypassing the
"Single Message Mode" check.

No.
But what does that have to do with the new switch to automatic scoring?
The blocking/not blocking of message scoring/ penalty box checks is
dependent from spamlover/testmode.
