Hello everybody,
I have a project for deploying asterisk in one small office. I need
professional sugestion in selection for sip hardware phones.
which of the following hardware is better.
Linksys SPA 941/942 or polycom 430 phone
or some other phones main criteria is cost,
I have deployed a qty of both phones and would recommend the Linksys
942 for the following reasons:
better display (larger, backlit)
up to 4 lines vs 2
both are POE
faster boot time

I need recommendations about the best and most reliable DID provider for
North America. There are a lot of providers offering DIDs and related
services, but who knows how good they are in their service. I have my own
asterisk servers, all I need is DIDs, with multiple channels per DID, call
I would like to know as well, short of going straight to Level3 or XO or
something.
I am most interested in quality and number of included inbound and more
importantly outbound simultaneous channels and the costs associated if
more than what is included in a plan are needed.
Thanks,
Steve
I have a bunch through Teliax and have had great service.

If you don't want to go to Level3 or XO yourself, I don't know what answer
you expect on this list. What you are going to get are people giving their
opinions, or else people who are wanting to sell their services.

Zeeshan,
We currently offer XO DID's via our network. We have had many customers

What is your typical usage? Minutes? Channels?
I have had accounts with almost all of them but never used them much.
When I did they were all pretty good. The exceptions to that and it had
to do more with customer service (though my service was not working)
were Voicepulse and Nufone.
Thanks,
Please tell us more. I have one ordered already, but my supplier is
delaying the ship date every week (normal, since they aren't out yet).
How does the 330 compare to the 501, besides having only two lines instead
of 3? In terms of quality of materials, looks, ease of use, fonctionality,
etc?

I'm looking for a few new ITSPs in the UK, Spain and Denmark. I'd like to
deal with ITSPs that focus on their country, rather than a generalist (such
as DIDx).
Can anyone recommend ITSPs in those regions? My goals are:
* Have (or are willing to build) an API to manage numbers
* Both

I have a number of clients I consult to, I set each one up with an
account on Teliax. They are pretty light usage but some are demanding on
quality and reliability.

A link to the page on Amazon would help. Also, $50 is kind of expensive
for an E-Book. Maybe if you had some excerpts, table of contents, and
index or something more to go on, it might help justify the purchase.

More of a user's list question. Can you explain what you are trying to
do a little better? What number are you getting in callerID? What
number are you not getting? Is it being changed? Where is it being

good rates, stable quality and not so big prepayment required.
Thanks to all.

I wonder if someone would care to recommend a billing system for

It should favorise the prepaid billing system, and be integrated with a
payment gateway ( paypal or money bookers would be nice, as paypal lets
people make payments without the use of a credit card ).
