CPMs from ad companies are so bad that you can't rely your business
model on that. You should see it as just one avenue only.

Agreed - I think the max you'll get away with is about 10 seconds. As others
have said, it's going to be a tricky business model to sustain - you'll have to
have a pretty high number of "playbacks" for the revenues from advertisers to
offset the cost of
Invox supports ads for developers - http://www.invox.com - I haven't
tried them myself but they have it inbuilt in their platform.

The premise seems defective. The ad revenue wouldn't be cost-effective
in truly expensive areas to call from, and nobody would listen to ads
for 1-2 minutes even for a free call when there is such an abundance of
cheap calling options available where they do not face this requirement.
