I see that there exists PHPExcel which can handle Excel spreadsheets.

Bruce,
It would be helpful if you posted what it is exactly that you
need done. A2Billing is a great billing system if you are the
DIY type
both pre-paid (with cutoff) and post paid models.

Hi,
After winding up a project I find myself with a moderate number of
Innomedia VoIP phones and ATA type devices I'd like to sell. Most are
still unopened in the box with the factory accessory set.

The GPL source tarball was released last week and it seems to include
Asterisk. You tell me if it's hackable :)

Unfortunately, copyright (GPL) has nothing to do with patents. G729 and

depending on the alarm datalink speed, you should be able to use G711 on
just about any ATA or IAD type device. PSK modulations will be more
suseptable to jitter. Usually alarm circuits are FSK under 1200 BPS so
they should make it fine.

perhaps a rewrite of a GPLed H.323 stack is in order, then this whole

That would be a not very fun thing to do... First you have to do a
GPL'd ASN1 compiler. I tried once a few years back. My head STILL hurts!
