I have a small client (5 - 8 people/phones in an office) and thanks to this
list I'm gonna use IP phones.
I have 2 additional questions that I hope you can help me with.

You proposed hardware config is substantially larger than the
environment should require. You could service the number of users
that you mention with less than half that hardware.
If you are going to go via a SIP carrier, make your choice on the
basis of your provider's route
For this small an installation, which I do all the time, I would use an
embedded machine running Astlinux. If you want a PSTN line, use a
SPA-3000 or two or a sip gateway.
The advantage of this solution is reliability. The Astlinux machine uses
a flash card for the OS, and so is largely
