AMP is a wonderful product. I struggled with Asterisk for about a year.
Now, I can focus on what I need done rather than figuring out how
Asterisk works. For exampe. I would have never dreamed of configuring
multiple trunks and devising an LCR scheme without AMP. Although, since

But you can make your own changes and setup in a few files that don't get change. Only the voicemail.conf, and the files_additional.conf files get changed. There are extensions_custom.conf which you can edit and add your settings too. Also you can edit the

platform is to hit critical mass. While other PBX vendors take the "It's my
way, or the highway" approach to configuration, it's not enough for Asterisk
