Would it be possible to get a URL or IP of your present location? This way you would only hear from folks that could met your <=50ms requirement.
Something in Seattle might work on our end :) Best, David -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of shadowym Sent: Thursday, July 13, 2006 10:01 AM To: asterisk-biz@lists.digium.com Subject: [asterisk-biz] Looking for IAX provider in my area (WesternCanada/Pacific NW) Hi there, Seems everyone and their dog has decided to start their own phone company these days. I went through all the companies listed on the voip wiki in my general geographical area regarding IAX connectivity and none of them got back to me. Others had already changed their name or the website didn't work anymore or ? Does not inspire confidence in any of them so far. Can anyone provide me with reliable end user IAX connectivity in my geographical area? I am in Western Canada so I should be able to get ping times of 50ms or less from providers in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland (?). Someone with a direct connection to the Shaw BigPipe backbone would be preferrable since I am on Shaw. That would exclude US providers but not if the ping times are good. Ok, if you can do this I would also like to know where you can provide DID's and most importantly, how are you connected to the PSTN? TDM or IP? Cheers and happy Asterisking! _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz
