I have an Asterisk with multiple IP's, on the same subnet. When a call comes
in, I need to send it back out via SIP, but need that only one IP is used as
originating IP for all calls.
For example

S but seems to pop the macro stack so that when there's a later fallthrough
in M, the calls hangs up rather than returning to the caller of M.

Thanks for the tip. I have been checking those two options. Would you be
able to provide an example of how GROUP or GROUP_COUNT may check for a trunk
usuage? From what I see is that you have to assing certain routes a group
and then count the group, but how I do include a trunk in the group?
Ay,
Run make sample in the asterisk src dir3. And check the etc asterisk
dir3 for sample config files.
If you are not clear after reading contact me goksie at gmail.

Here is how I do it. It is based on Asterisk 1.6.1.x, and I
You really shouldn't be calling a Gosub routine from Macro. We've
already had to deal with some really odd interactions between the
two. If you're going to make the jump to Gosub, go completely over
and only use Gosub. Don't use Macro in conjunction with Gosub.

Thanks for that. It very well detailed.
I am not sure if I can use GROUP and GROUP_COUNT now that I see how it's
used. You see, the call is placed by A2Billing so I don't have a control
over setting GROUP increase and so if there is a call GROUP_COUNT won't
work.
I might resort back to using sed
