Hello,
I have question regarding the changes that are made in the sip
protocol in Asterisk - the option progressinband.
When this option is set to yes in asterisk version 1.4.21.1 - the call flow is:
sip.conf:
progressinband=yes

On the link above you can find a tutorial, that describes how to
configure Asterisk and Microsoft Messenger 5.1. It is tested with
Asterisk 1.2 and Asterisk CVS head form 11.11.2005

Yes there is a way,
you have to compile zaptel and load the ztdummy driver. This driver uses
the uhci-usb/ohci-usb (not sure which one) module in your computer for
timing source.
So after compiling libpri-zaptle-asterisk, just:
modprobe ztdummy

You can look at this tutorial:
http://www.asteriskguru.com/tutorials/wildcard_tdm11b.html Yes, it is
for TDM11B (TDM400P family), but TDM 400p is moduler card.

I think that you are using wrong driver!! Check for something like
'wctdm'!!!

Try QuickTime for Windows. With this program you can play files with
extension gsm.
I have tried this and it works perfectley!!!

Does anybody know of a WINDOWS application (preferably freeware) that will
simply playback asterisk GSM sound files, I don't want to record them,
