hen dial the Number. and you get processed through * , through sip, then to your
endpoint.
Again you want to use an FXS card instead of an FXO.
It makes it alot easier to access. if you wanted to make your extensions a longer
distance you would then want to use an FXO.

I've been reading the Linejack strikes again messages, and have another Newbie question
is it possible to use a Voip Product as a Dialout line for * ?
I have a Vegastream 100 Voip to PRI. box. With * can I use that as a Dialout / dialin
box?
The Vega100 does either sip or h.323.
Thanks.

Hey Has anybody dealt with any of these products?
They Seem to be at a good price point. but I've never used one so I was
hopeing that sombody here Might have some insight. Their configurations are
as follows.
ACOM200B: 2 Port FXS
ACOM200D: 2 Port FXO
ACOM200E: 1 FXO and 1 FXS
This looks to me
I've done a quick search through the old mailing list archives to see if I
could dial an outside line through * using a quicknet linejack setup as an
FXO.
Is it posible to do so?
It appears from the old mailinglist from marko.net that this not possible?
Thanks.

I'm looking at getting the Dev light applications from digium
and I have 2 Createive Labs voip blasters. The voip blaster supports the
G.723.1 codec. After looking at Gnome meeting it does not talk unless you have a
quicknet card for it. Can I make calls using asterisk and the digium cards to the
alled E1 to
differentiate from T1.
South Africa uses E1. which according to a colleague is known as pcm30. (if he
remembers correctly.)
The E-100 Card should work but I doubt if it's telkom certified. (That's your problem)
