OK with that being said how can you modify the phone to use the second line
button as a speed dial? Then you can label it has flash.

OK I have looked everywhere and I can't get a clear understanding on how to
do this. If I have an x100P card connected to my home phone line and I am
receiving calls on my Cisco 7940 IP phone with a SIP firmware loaded on it.
How can I send the hook flash to the x100P card to switch to the call
Here is a good one.
If I wanted to record a call when it comes into a particular extension, then
e-mail the wav file to a particular email address what would I do? I know
how to initiate the recording but I don't know how to initiate the e-mail
after the call is complete. I can initiate a call
You can plug an RJ-11 in that very carefully.

I just received my TDM400
I am having trouble with Broadvoice as well. My server sees the call but I
get no audio then the line drops but the call stays up at the asterisk
server. Goes to voicemail but on the far end the phone is already on the
hook.
Glad I wasn't the only one. Thought I was going crazy over here.
it will
start again.
If you run safe_asterisk from say...your rc.local then it will start when
linux restarts.

Does Asterisk restart itself if it crashes? If not is there a way to make
linux do it?

Has anyone been able to get chan_sccp to work with a 7920 on [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I was able to compile chan_sccp and I see it as a running module in Asterisk
but I don't see any debugs on the console that shows the phone even making
an attempt. I followed the examples to the T but still no luck.

Its funny as soon as I sent this I looked at my sccp.conf file and saw that
the source ip address was set to 1.2.3.4 and not my asterisk server. Go
figure. :) They register now.

Title: a simple question .
How would you go about setting up xPL to send caller ID
information from Asterisk to your Windows XP machine?
I cant find any good documentation on this.
