when the call is answered both ends can't hear a word, its just silent.
I think I am having a codec problem here. What am I doing wrong. We would
sincerely appreciate any help/pointers.

I finally got asterisk to register my mediatrix, I am now able to dial
an analog phone (connected to the mediatrix, which in turn is connected
to *) from a soft phone (X-lite).I made a typo when creating the
corresponding user on my asterisk box, after i corrected that,

The mediatrix configuration tru the unit manager software is like going
tru hell.My mediatrix unit is failing when it come to registering it
self with the asterisk box. I have set the realm to asterisk but still
nothing.

Hi I would like to know how to configure a Mediatrix 1102 box to work
with my asterisk box. I have analog phones that i would like to connect
to my Mediatrix box and then connect the Mediatrix box to my asterisk

Seems like question number five did the trick, I just installed asterisk
on another machine with different hardware specs and asterisk is up and
running, what a beauty!!. Man thank u all for the help, I appreciate it.

First i would like to thank the kind people of the list who have
answered my previuos mail, but i am still stuck as asterisk still
crashes upon startup, i have read the install article at

HI i am very new to asterisk and my boss needs me to investigate setting
up asterisk for a new client. I have downloaded and installed (make,
make install and make progdocs)asterisk on my personal computer and
when i try to run it (./asterisk -vvvc) i get the following output
