According to the latest SIP release notes from Avaya, the 46xx series
work with the SIP images here:

As previously mentioned you need to upgrade to SIP.

I believe asterisk runs fine on FreeBSD, but the Zaptels drivers may
not be fully ported yet. Check out the Asterisk-BSD list, I think it
would give you a better idea of the FreeBSS status.
